We found Pine Lodge as we had a voucher for a two-night stay, and it was one of the few places we could use it. Family-run B&B, dog-friendly, nothing is too much trouble and it's perfectly situated for being close to the town centre without being right in it. Would definitely recommend.
Friendly owners. Owners welcomed us on arrival and showed us around. We booked a family room, 2 Adults and 2 Children. Decent sized room for adults however the children's room was a bit on the small side considering the price for one night. Bathroom was spacious. Could have done with more towels as we used the outdoor pool and went to the Tolcarne Beach in the evening. Outdoor pool was lovely with one downside- the ladders/ stairs for the pool is loose therefore unsafe for use especially children. There was a wide variety for breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back again. Thank you
Dave and Yvone the hosts run a small but very friendly and cosy 12 room hotel, about 10 minutes walk from the beach and 15 minutes from the town centre. Good tidy rooms with en-suite, t.v. and in room refreshments. Rooms are of varying sizes to cater for families up to 6 people. A varied breakfast menu and if required various small meals and snacks from early to mid evening. There is also a lounge and bar with a games room off to the side. Within the summer season there is an outdoor heated swimming pool available. Guests can come and go as they please with no curfew time. I would recommend this venue to anyone and would gladly go back again.
A very warm welcome and a lovely clean and well equipped room. A good selection of food for breakfast, cooked to perfection. Would not hesitate in coming back or recommending to others.
What a beautiful place. We booked this through a voucher, which we received as a gift a d extended this stay by few days. Lovely staff, beautiful bedroom. I loved the decor. Everything was nice and clean which is the most important. Our bedroom was overlooking main road but it wasn't a problem at all. We enjoyed our stay and sleep was comfortable in a large bed.
We decided to have a holiday in Cornwall this March and we were hoping for good weather and a nice place to stay. The weather was sunny for all our holiday. Our room in the Pine Lodge was lovely the only thing that surpassed our room was David and Yvonne.They are the perfect host's and totally made our stay there enjoyable. An outstanding stay. We felt welcomed straight away by the ower. All the staff were polite and helpful. Facilities are of a high standard throughout. The breakfast was amazing and I couldn't find any fault whilst on our two night stay. We well definitely come again.
What a fantastic experience at Pine Lodge. The place was clean and room was great. The hospitality of the owner and her family was second to none and could not have felt more welcomed during my stay. Friendly and accommodating and will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.
My husband & I have just returned from a 3 night stay at pine lodge. We couldn't have found a better place to stay in the whole of Newquay. We had a newly decorated ground floor room which was absolutely spotless with a lovely comfortable bed. Yvonne is both lovely & friendly & she made us feel very welcome as did the other staff at breakfast. The cooked breakfast was delicious & there was a good variety of cereals, jams, yogurts & teas to choose from. We would definitely stay here again hopefully a longer visit next time.
Lovely B and B hotel just outside the Newquay town centre about a ten minute walk. The hotel has a heated swimming pool too. Breakfast is excellent and sets you up for the day!! The hosts are a lovely couple. We have Room 1 which is very comfortable; it has a lovely en-suite shower room. Can highly recommend the Pine Lodge Hotel
